James speaks at Great Sankey High School event

JDG Media Managing Director James Gordon was invited back to Great Sankey High School last week to be the guest speaker at their annual presentation evening at the Parr Hall in Warrington.

James was a pupil at the school from 1999-2006 and spoke about his time at the school and his story since then, in front of students and parents there to celebrate GCSE achievements.

James said: “It was great to see some of my old teachers. In some ways, school feels like a lifetime ago, but in others it doesn’t so much. Being able to speak about my time there brought back some memories, and also proved a great way of reflecting on the achievements I have made personally since then.

“The whole experience was a new one to me, and it was a bit strange to be on the wrong side of the mic, rather than being one of the listeners!

“I was humbled to be asked to be the guest speaker and I hope that my story can inspire others to follow the right path and strive to achieve their aims and ambitions.

“As a company, we hope that we can provide the experience and opportunities that students desire, and we look forward to developing a working relationship with Great Sankey.”
